Love Locked

Love locked on a Porto's bridge.

Mill near to the beach in Apúlia, Portugal. Apúlia is a Portuguese parish of Esposende council. One of the main "ex-libris" of Apúlia is its long sandy beach, with extensive areas of sandy and rocky areas. It is also one of the most important in the country due to iodine of its waters, used to treat various health problems. In high season the population quadruples of Apúlia. Here there is also a fishing community, where every day you can buy fresh fish. Source of the text: wikipedia.

Blowing the sun

Blowing the sun
Airflows can be used to run wind turbines. Modern wind turbines range from around 600 kW to 5 MW of rated power, although turbines with rated output of 1.5–3 MW have become the most common for commercial use; the power output of a turbine is a function of the cube of the wind speed, so as wind speed increases, power output increases dramatically. Areas where winds are stronger and more constant, such as offshore and high altitude sites, are preferred locations for wind farms. Typical capacity factors are 20-40%, with values at the upper end of the range in particularly favourable sites.

City at night seen from the ruins

I particularly like this contrast Urbanization / ruins. I was on a old house near the river, where the walls had fallen and it was possible this perspective.Safety, something the ruins don't have! :) I used a flashlight to get details on flowers instead of the silhouette. You can also see the light pollution in town!
